Panera Bread has teamed up with local food pantries and homeless shelters in our community.
Every night Panera Bread bakery-cafes donate all their leftover bread, bagels and pastries to community organizations that help those in need. Panera Bread bakery-cafes donated retail product to over 180 organizations in the Kansas City Metro, Wichita, Lawrence, Topeka, St. Joseph Mo. and Manhattan in 2011.
Panera Bread makes it our personal goal to never let any leftover baked goods go to waste when there are so many in our community in need.
