Reports to: Bakery District Management
Position Responsibilities
- Perform baking responsibilities in a safe and quality manner while following
systems in place.
- Perform all steps in baking process to include proofing, finishing, set-up
and cleaning.
- Keep track of and maintain a steady level of materials and products with
the inventory process in place.
- Manage time and materials to meet company expectations for profitability.
- As a certified baker, you are required to maintain a minimum of $200 per
hour bake out of the oven in baked, topped, finished, condensed and displayed
product. This includes pan-ups for the next day, cleaning duties and set-up
of bakery for next day.
- Properly clock in and out of system to ensure breaks are accounted for
and payrolls are completed accurately. Post time on baker’s time sheet
daily.
- Be a team player with fellow co-workers while helping the store and Original
Bread to meet goals.
- Follow training programs and processes to ensure consistence in products
and quality.
- Must be able to work in the entire Metro area in which they are applying
for
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work up to a 10 hour shift while standing or walking to
perform essential functions.
- Will be required to lift up to fifty pounds during the course of a workday.
- Must be able to push or pull up to 150 lbs in duration of shift.
- Will require bending, stooping, and occasional use of a ladder.
- Will work with ovens in high temperatures and also within the cooler during
shift.
- Must be able to work at multiple locations during the same shift as needed.
Will not have set days off and must be able to work between hours of 10:00
pm until 6:00 am.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with management and team members.
